Economic Development Advisory Committee

That the agenda be approved as printed.

That the minutes of the Economic Development Advisory Committee meeting dated April 12, 2021 be adopted as presented.

That EDAC assume responsibility for 2021 initiatives previously approved for the Buckhorn Trail Town Committee; and further That funds allocated to Trail Town initiatives in the 2021 budget, as per Council Resolution R2021-75, be reallocated to EDAC.

That EDAC receive the verbal update from the Greenspace/Streetscape Sub-committee for their information.

That EDAC receive the Report to Council and Council Resolutions regarding Pedestrian Crossovers on Lakehurst Road for their information.

That EDAC receive the Reports to Council and Council Resolutions regarding Maintenance of Roadsides in Buckhorn; and further That EDAC strongly recommend to Council that maintenance of roadsides in Buckhorn commence in 2021.

That EDAC recommend and support, in principle, a playground structure at Ode'naang Park with:  a cost of approximately $50,000.00;  a footprint of approximately 40 feet by 40 feet, subject to space limitations;  a primary structure with limited outlying structures such as swings and no netting features;  natural environment colours and themes; and  activities for children of various ages.
