That the agenda be approved as printed.

That Item 9.2 from the minutes of the Environmental Advisory Committee meeting dated July 4, 2024 be corrected to read: The Committee requested that the Shoreline Conservation for Peterborough County Group be invited to present at the next meeting. They further requested that the Catchacoma Forest Stewardship Committee and the Bancroft Minden Forest Company be invited to present at the September meeting. ; and further That the minutes be adopted as corrected.

That the Committee receive the presentation from Mary Webb, Chair, Shoreline Conservation - Peterborough County regarding Protecting the Kawartha Lakes: Taking Action on Natural Shoreline Preservation for their information.

That a Shoreline Protection Initiatives Subcommittee comprising of Chair Spence, Member Leerdam, and Deputy Mayor Armstrong be established; and further That the Subcommittee develop a plan regarding shoreline protection initiatives to present at a future Committee meeting.

McKay That the Committee receive the presentation from Dian Bogie, Treasurer, Lovesick Lake Association, regarding the Lakeshore Capacity Assessment for Lovesick Lake for their information.

That the Committee receive the Bird Friendly City correspondence for information; and further That the Bird Friendly City is supported in principle by the Committee.
