Parks, Recreation and Culture Advisory Committee

That the agenda be amended to add Item 7.4, Catchacoma Forest; and further That the agenda be approved as amended.

That the Minutes of the Parks, Recreation and Culture Advisory Committee meeting dated August 12, 2021 be adopted as presented.

That the Committee approve the addition of the following milestone activities to the 2021 PRCAC Work Plan: Under Item 3 - Develop a project plan in support of a municipal open spaces plan:  Production of an open spaces trails brochure with projected costs.  Review of open spaces RFP prior to issuance.  Renaming of Trails Subcommittee and revised terms of reference. Under Item 6 - Develop a project plan in support of a municipal heritage plan:  Complete research of all statutory/regulatory and association best practices requirements.  Complete inventory/database of archival resources in the municipality.  Complete draft CRM/Heritage By-law.

That the PRCAC endorse the concept of a trails system in the Catchacoma Forest; and further That opportunities to partner with the Catchacoma Forest Stewardship Committee, in alignment with the PRCAC's visions for an integrated trails network, be considered within the scope of the Open Spaces RFP.

That the Parks, Recreation and Culture Advisory Committee adjourn at 2:53 p.m.
