Peterborough OPP Detachment Board

That the agenda be approved as printed.

That the minutes of the Peterborough OPP Detachment Board meeting dated October 21, 2024 be adopted as presented.

That the Board receive the Memo from the CAO of Peterborough County regarding the Board Administrator; and further That the Board rescind resolution DB2024-07 and DB2024-09, adopted October 21, 2024; and further That the Board approve the proposal outlined by Peterborough County regarding the Board Administrator, with a monthly stipend of $700.00 for in-scope services; and further That the Board authorize the Chair to enter into Purchase of Services Agreement with Peterborough County for Board Administration Services.

That the Board receive the report from the Interim Board Administrator regarding the Detachment Board Name Change; and further That the Board support the Name Change By-law and updated Terms of Reference; and further That the updated Terms of Reference be presented to the respective Municipal and First Nations Councils for adoption.

That the Board receive the report from the Interim Board Administrator regarding the Ontario Association of Police Services Board (OAPSB) Membership Invoice; and further That the Board defer the approval of the 2025 OAPSB Membership until the January 27, 2025 meeting pending receipt of further information on costing and distribution of the cost of the invoice.

That the Board receive the OPP October 2024 Report for their information.

That the Board receive the Community Applications for OPP Golden Helmets Performance for their information.

That By-law 2024-002, being 'A by-law to change the name of the Peterborough OPP Detachment Board to the Peterborough County OPP Detachment Board' be read a first, second, and third time and passed this 2nd day of December, 2024.

That the Peterborough County OPP Detachment Board adjourn at 2:28 p.m.
