at the October 23, 2023 Library Board meeting, the Library Board appointed an Acting CEO, an Acting Chair, and an Acting Secretary to cover a temporary vacancy; and Whereas the Library Board welcomes back Stephanie McPherson; and Whereas Stephanie McPherson will resume Library CEO duties on a full-time basis on commencement of working full-time hours on February 27, 2024; and Whereas upon the Library CEO resuming duties on a full-time basis on commencement of working full-time hours, appointments of Acting CEO, Acting Chair and Acting Secretary are no longer necessary; and Whereas upon rescinding the appointments of Acting CEO, Acting Chair and Acting Secretary, the Acting CEO will resume their role as Chair and the Acting Chair will resume their role as Vice-Chair; Now Therefore That , effective February 27, 2024, the Library Board rescind Resolution LB2023-40, adopted October 23, 2023, to appoint an Acting CEO; and further That , effective February 27, 2024, the Library Board rescind Resolution LB2023-41, adopted October 23, 2023, to appoint an Acting Chair; and further That, effective February 27, 2024, the Library Board rescind Resolution LB2023-37, adopted October 23, 2023, to appoint an Acting Secretary.
